Yes! Birln is free to download and use. You can check in to venues, earn Birln Bux, see who's going where, and discover nightlife without paying anything. Some premium features may be available in the future.

On the login screen, tap "Forgot Password?" and enter your email or phone number. We'll send you a verification code to reset your password. If you don't receive it, check your spam folder or contact support.

Yes. Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. This will permanently remove your profile, check-in history, and Birln Bux. This action cannot be undone. For questions, contact support@birln.com.

When you arrive at a venue, open the Birln app and tap "Check In" on the venue page. You must be physically at the location (we verify using GPS). Check-ins let you see who else is there, earn Birln Bux, and help others discover the hottest spots!

Birln Bux (Ƀ) are reward points you earn by checking in to venues, rating places, and being active on the platform. Use them to unlock exclusive perks, get VIP access, skip lines at participating venues, and redeem special offers. The more you use Birln, the more you earn!

Venue heat is calculated in real-time based on check-ins, crowd density, and user activity. 🔥🔥🔥 = Hot (crowded, buzzing), 🔥🔥 = Moderate, 🔥 = Quiet. Heat helps you decide where to go based on the vibe you want!

Yes! Tap any venue to see recent check-ins and who's there right now (if they've made their check-ins public). This helps you find friends or meet new people with similar interests before you even arrive.

Birln suggests connections based on venues you both frequent, similar nightlife preferences, and mutual friends. When you match, you can chat and plan to meet up at your favorite spots. Keep your profile updated for better matches!

Yes. We only use your location to verify check-ins and suggest nearby venues. You control your privacy settings and can choose who sees your check-ins (everyone, friends only, or private). We never sell your data. Read our Privacy Policy for details.

Absolutely! Go to Settings → Privacy → Check-in Visibility. You can set it to Public (everyone), Friends Only, or Private (only you). You can also hide specific check-ins individually.

Tap the three dots on any profile or message → Report. Choose the reason (harassment, spam, inappropriate content, etc.). Our team reviews all reports within 24 hours. For urgent safety concerns, email safety@birln.com immediately.

Go to their profile → three dots → Block User. They won't be able to see your profile, send messages, or see your check-ins. They won't be notified. You can unblock them anytime in Settings → Blocked Users.

Tap the + button on the map → Add Venue. Enter the name, address, and venue type (bar, club, lounge, etc.). Our team will verify and approve it within 48 hours. If it's your venue, contact us about claiming it!

Yes! On the venue page, tap "Suggest Edit" to update hours, location, photos, or other details. We appreciate your help keeping Birln accurate!

In the Places area (Spots) of the app, press and hold on the venue's name on its profile card. You'll get the option to hide that venue from your feed—handy for venues you're unlikely to check in to or don't want to see. To show a hidden venue again, search for the venue by name in the app; that turns off the hide and the venue will reappear in your feed.
